A dynamic first half with cautious growth – how MABEUSZ member agencies performed in 2025

MABEUSZ members’ DMC offices were busy and saw a slight growth during the first half of the year in both leisure and MICE sectors in an increasingly price-sensitive market that reacts quickly to international events.

Our members operating in the Leisure sector:

– attracted both smaller and larger leisure groups to Budapest and Hungary with their engaging program offerings and continued growing traffic

– provided high-standard accommodation, colorful programs and culinary experiences for their group travellers in a hotel market that is increasingly and constantly expanding

– also continued to welcome a growing number of individual travelers opting for organized trips

– offer a wide range of experiences available in Budapest, additionally they promote day-trip itineraries that inspire guests to explore places nearby the capital

Our members operating in the MICE sector:

– arranged and executed numerous smaller-scale events requiring special programs and venues

– successfully won larger MICE groups of several hundred participants who chose Budapest as their destination due to enticing and creative presentations

– are productive not only in inventing ideas but also in their meticulous fulfillment– planning always based on local knowledge, close cooperation with suppliers, and their on-site presence ensures smooth and memorable events.

According to the forecasts by MABEUSZ members further slight increase can be expected in the second half of the year, and they are preparing to welcome guests arriving in Budapest and Hungary with professional expertise, high-quality services, fair and flexible customer service and creative ideas.
